Cometh the hour… b474 races on! !!

The past weeks have been really tight for me here and so the posts have kind of dried up. But, I come back after gaining some invaluable experience. Racing. More specific. Racing Cars! !!
Yup! !! You read that right. I did some super cool hard core racing. It really does pay off to have some real cool friends. I did it twice in the last week alone. Got great results for a first timer. The over all experience was mind boggling. Expensive… but it was all worth it.
Sitting amidst the bars of the roll cage, wearing a helmet, leather jacket, ear splitting roar of the engines, tires begging for some straight driving, pedal to the metal, short shift gears, low raise sparco seats, momo steering, racing slicks……….. and I could go on for ever. It was like living in the world of EA Sports’ NEED FOR SPEED.
I did undergo some training, got a video clip of it for the blog. This video is where I get the hang of the racing lines. That is, The part where I have to drive through and learn the position I should maintain on the track to get maximum speed and also control the car better.
the video lasts for 2:42 2min and 42sec. That’s the slow lap with another person in the car. Done 2:30 for my best here. Pros do 2:20. I am proud of myself! !!
It’s really not easy to write about it. You’ll have to experience it. The rush, the joy and the freedom to go as fast as you [possibly] can. Ultimate AAaHA! !!
That’s me.. with the car. [Esteem-905kg-16valve-90bhp] Not all that powerful but does the work. 100 in less than 8s.
